Out of a love for an easy and economically viable life, I abandoned entering the film industry and turned my attention becoming a self-trained graphic designer.

Assisting consultants, entrepreneurs and life coaches with their identities, I honed my skills on some of the most unconventional business card runs the print houses had ever seen. Some refused to talk to me. Luckily I found a house as crazy as I: a tiny team of Rodney Gluck and Don Vigeant. Together, we tested the limits of Illustrator, Quark, and the 6-color offset press, while providing clients with fabulous materials.

But there was a problem – several, really – all stemming from unclear clients demanding something they couldn't quite define. At the end of every project was a palatable sense of buyer's remorse: a letdown of energy, and I knew there must be a better way. Was the anticlimactic sense of remorse a foregone result of the design process? I was no longer interested in the "how about this" style of creative relationships with clients. I turned my attention to communication and consciousness skills for an answer.

Turns out what I had stumbled upon out of necessity for some sanity with clients was a revolutionary understanding of branding, identity, and the creative process. It was just a matter of years before I could articulate clearly the components of a complete and reliable process for creating a remarkable brand from scratch. Thanks to my many clients on whose backs I grappled and crawled through understanding what worked and what didn't – whose projects were always remarkable, and unique.

Now I'm poised to begin the true revolution, company by company. The bandwagon I ride is both the bravest and safest choice out there. But it is an awfully lonely hayride, as I see so many marketing failures I would like to fix, so many moments of personal disconnect that could be remedied by a wand of value and hot truth.

Lonely but fun, I desperately seek the brave ones who dare to be practically and powerfully themselves, ready to send the superficial to the corner and bring forth saucy, marketable, magnetic, majestic essence – that which can sustain multiple definitions and inspire an audience with awe.
