About Us

First Focus Learning Systems provides programs to teach reading, math and writing as an after-school program..

Our flagship course is the First Focus Reading System which teaches children to read using a phonics based, easy to learn methodology.  The program is available in a private and semi-private tutoring sessions and in small group classes.  

Classes are conducted once per week, in alignment with the school year.  Typically the Kindergarten students attend the after school program at 1:00PM to 3:00 PM, one day per week.  First, Second and third grade classes are held at 3:30-5:30 PM on a designated day, once per week.

We also provide Parent Training classes to enable and empower parents to teach this program to their child or children.

To become familiar with the program, we recommend that you register at www.firstfocus.com to observe one of our Free 45 minute Reading Demonstrations held approximately every two weeks in Mountain View, San Jose and San Mateo to register for a reading demonstration or to view comments from parents and teachers on the merits and results of the program.
