“We started GBI 23 years ago in downtown Mountain View. Over the years we have grown, changed, and continually learn to do a better job at multiple things. Some of which are a better product mix, having knowledgeable and helpful staff, easier shopping with increased and always on-going organization of beads and findings. New products are added weekly. You may take advantage of our endless search for quality products and place a “Special order “through us from many of our vendors. Join one of foundation classes, reap the benefits of our vast knowledge and have us Custom Design a piece, repair or redesign pieces you currently own. Have a birthday party or "girls-night" out and make some jewelry to wear instantly!

We, employees and owners, have learned to listen to our customers requests and do our best to fulfill them. We do this by having knowledgeable, willing employees, and suppliers that share this same commitment”.

Our offer include a huge selection of beads, findings and cording. An exclusive jewelry collection designed by founder, Kathleen McCabe-Elsey labeled "Don'Kay Designs. This line includes "Splendor" - evening jewels, "White Gown" our wedding line, "everyday fun" and "Things Past" our vintage line. We also offer a full custom design jewelry service, as well as repairs and restringing.
