STORY OF HOTEL STRATA
For 35 years, this family owned and managed hotel has been rated number ONE in customer service and quality by first time and loyal repeat guests. Always looking to provide guests with a truly special experience, the family has continually offered amenities and services based on guests' recommendations and constantly evolved the property with their guest needs in mind.
After years of success under various brands, the management realized that in order to do something truly special and different, they would have to make a change. Taking a cue from their Silicon Valley neighbors, companies that did something special, small start-ups without the restrictions of big corporations, the hotel decided to get to the root of the industry and move away from the brands that had previously set the standards. They wanted to set their own standards and focus on giving genuine service from the heart and offering guests an unforgettable hotel experience.Keeping with their desire to focus on guests needs, the management decide to upgrade the hotel in 2014. The new hotel features contemporary styled accommodations with custom upscale furnishings, high-tech conveniences, local made furniture, and hardwood style flooring that create a modern retreat of style and sophistication. Every guest room and suite has been designed via A/B Testing from guest's feedback. All room amenities are branded and with highest quality such as Grohe and Toto Bathroom Fixtures, Samsung TV, Custom Made in Bay Area Furniture (designed by hotel guests), Porcelanosa Spanish Tiles in all rooms Polycom Phone, Danish Stressless chairs and Herman Miller Desk Chairs.
