About Us

The Voice is a community newspaper published every Friday by the Embarcadero Media. The online edition of the paper is posted at 8:30 a.m. Friday. The Voice serves the San Francisco Peninsula community of Mountain View and surrounding areas. In January 1994, a Voice sister paper, the Palo Alto Weekly, became the first newspaper in the United States to publish on the World Wide Web.
