Ever since she was a little girl, Pat wanted to be a scientist. After
receiving her Ph.D. in biochemistry and discovering that she did not
like research, she moved her career into marketing. After 13 years as a
stay-at-home mom, she moved into direct sales, first, with Weekenders
USA and later, with Mary Kay Inc. She decided that she could better
help her customers by knowing more about color. While taking classes at
Colour Designers International, she discovered her love and talent for
color and style analysis. She is a certified Image Consultant with the
Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), a Color
Specialist member of Colour Designers International (CDI), and a
certified Universal Style consultant. She is treasurer of the San
Francisco Bay Area chapter of AICI and programs chair of CDI. Find out
